NSMA Inducts 4 Into HOF

GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA (June 30, 2026) – Hall of Fame inductee Adrian Wojnarowski and national winners Sean McDonough and Ross Dellenger headlined the National Sports Media Association’s 66th awards banquet at Grandover Resort & Spa here last night. James Brown and posthumous inductees Greg Gumbel and Sid Hartman joined Wojnarowski in the Hall. More than 300 people attended the event, which honors sportscasters and sportswriters for excellence.

2025 National Sportscaster of the Year, Sean McDonough, and 2025 National Sportswriter of the Year, Ross Dellenger, received their awards, along with more than 50 State Sportscasters and Sportswriters of the Year, Woody Durham Voice of College Sports Award winner, Tony Caridi, Jim Nantz Award winner, Tyler Reidy, and Big House Gaines Award winner, Tierra Terry, of Winston-Salem State University.

The awards banquet capped off the two-day NSMA Awards Weekend & National Convention, which included the NSMA’s Convergence Summit, a series of panels presented by many of the NSMA award winners. The panels are designed to educate students and young professionals. Wojnarowski, McDonough, and Dellenger were among the presenters, along with several other award winners. Before the Summit, the NSMA Feedback Room was open for students and young professionals to receive feedback on their demo reels and clip files. More than a dozen veteran professionals, including some NSMA award winners, provided the critiques.

The 67th NSMA Awards Weekend & National Convention is scheduled for June 27-28, 2027. Details will b e determined at a later date and revealed at nationalsportsmedia.org.
